Second edition of Decoded Fashion Milan by

October 10th, 2014 – After its success in 2013, Decoded Fashion Milan by is returning for a second edition on October 22nd 2014. The international summit dedicated to fashion and technology is once again bringing together leading players in the fashion and retail industries with the best technology being offered by young start-ups.

This time again, – a project developed and launched by Pitti Immagine and FieraDigitale – is the sole representative of Decoded Fashion in Italy, confirming its mission to: spread digital culture, facilitate online growth, and sustain the development of emerging companies in the fashion field.

Omnichannel is the theme to this year’s summit. Retailers and brands are now faced with the challenge of creating ultimate omnichannel portals. They must connect consumers online with offline involvements, while creating interactive personalised experiences. The struggle now is to discover and select the right technologies which can bring to life these once-fantastical concepts.

A full day summit which includes innovative discussions, insightful keynotes and a fast pace competition, with numerous speakers including: the Digital and eBusiness SVP of Kering, the Director Retail of Google, the SVP Global Marketing of Versace, the CEO of OTB. With the participation of the Head of Industry Luxury & Consumer Goods Corporate, & Investment Banking Division of Intesa Sanpaolo, and the designer Stella Jean.

Who will be in the spotlight? Designers, innovators, and above all young start-ups that will participate in The Fashion Pitch, the competition that offers its participants the chance to present themselves and their ideas to an international audience which will choose and award the best emerging proposal.

The judges? For this second edition, Decoded Fashion & have the pleasure to announce the participation of the CEO of OTB, Stefano Rosso, and the Head of Atlante Ventures Fund of Intesa Sanpaolo, Davide Turco.

The prizes? will select one or more start-up that will have the chance to present their project during the next Pitti Uomo fair in Florence. The OTB Group will give the winners the opportunity to meet and engage with Stefano and Renzo Rosso as well as some of their managing team in a day visit to their headquarters. And finally, the winner of The Fashion Pitch will be awarded access into the StartUp Initiative, a platform by Intesa Sanpaolo made to accelerate the international growth of hi-tech start-ups; in addition, another two finalists will be able to participate in the StartUp Initiative Boot Camp.
