November 6th, 2015 – Decoded Fashion Milan announces the 8 finalist startups of The Fashion Pitch, the international competition for young entrepreneurs in the field of fashion and digital, this year hosted in partnership with Fashion Technology Accelerator.

Winners will be selected on November 18th. During the event, each startup will present its own project to a jury composed by: Giusy Cannone, Managing Director of Fashion Technology Accelerator; Davide Turco, Head of Atlante Ventures Fund of Intesa Sanpaolo; Riccardo Sciutto, General Manager of Hogan; Francesco Bottigliero, CEO of e-PITTI.com
Fashion Technology Accelerator will give away 10.000 euros and an acceleration programme named “Fast Growth” – put together exclusively for the summit – that includes a company check-up, various strategical meetings with advisors and access to FTA spaces.
Hogan will offer the winning startup the opportunity to present its business to the brand’s management in a day visit to its Headquarters. It will be a unique opportunity for mentorship and experience with representatives of various divisions of the business.
Intesa Sanpaolo will give the winner direct access to its StartUp Initiative, the international acceleration platform of the Group for hi-tech startups. Runner-ups will be given the chance to participate in the programme’s Boot Camp.
Pitti Immagine will host the top 3 startups in the coming edition of Pitti Uomo in Florence. Each startup will will be able to present to an international audience of the fair its own projects in a space dedicated to them.
Facebook will give one of the finalists the chance to enter a special mentoring programme. An enriching and innovative project of great value coordinated by Facebook professionals, who will share their skills and experience during this business coaching activity.
Premio Alberto D’Ottavi – Digital Fashion Innovator 2015 is an award in memory of Alberto D’Ottavi, a pioneer of digital transformation in Italy. A special jury, made up of some of the most important directors in fashion, will be selecting the awarding startup.
