FieraDigitale: the future of online fairs

October 24th, 2012 - FieraDigitale announces the start of collaboration with Fiera Milano for the creation, scheduled for January 2013, of Macef+ (www.macefplus.com), the online version of Macef, the International Home Show in Milan.

After having put together the first online fairs in the fashion sector with the project e-PITTI.com, FieraDigitale expands its horizons into the world of design, furnishings and decoration. This is the second stage in the growth path of this company, that has seen it go from launch of the platform in the summer of 2011 to publication of almost 4,000 online stands.

This important partnership is yet further confirmation of the validity of our online fair concept”, commented Francesco Bottigliero, CEO of FieraDigitale.“Even in the trade fair business, digital stands as the main frontier for evolution, letting visitors relive their experience of traditional shows anytime anywhere, with online exploitation of the huge amount of info and details that operators have so far accumulated on exhibitors and buyers“.

Thanks to its own technological platform, the skills of its team and special operational process,

FieraDigitale intends to become the future of the trade fair business by providing companies with a tool capable of developing their business way beyond the duration of the fair itself and of multiplying networking opportunities with other parties who are often distant and from foreign markets.

Thanks to the FieraDigitale platform, show organisers can make the most of the potential of digital, delivering new services to their exhibitors, acquiring new tools for tracing, studying and profiling their visitors and setting up online marketplaces for B2B e-commerce projects.

FieraDigitale SRL (www.fieradigitale.com) was founded in March 2010. It is a new company owned by Pitti Immagine with shares held by Francesco Bottigliero.
